The Holy Month of Ramadan is a pure blessing for all the Muslims around the globe. Fasting is mandatory for every Muslim who is healthy and fears Allah Almighty. Fasting during the month of Ramadan teaches sharing, caring, togetherness, humbleness, and peace.
Every region has its own way, culture, and type of people. The religion is one wonderful thing which blends in with culture and norms like a pigment and resulting in a beautiful hue, a spontaneous and a new string of colors spread on the ground sending a very vibrant and energetic message to the other parts of the world.
Africa, a continent full of wonders, a land of beautiful people, rich culture, colors of nature and blessings of God bestowed upon. Africa has mountains, beaches, deserts, animals, and scorching sun in the morning with a cool breeze to follow in the evening.
Morocco is situated on the west side of North Africa. Geographically, Morocco is characterized by a rugged mountainous interior, large tracts of desert and a lengthy coastline along the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.
The capital, Rabat has one of the wonderful beaches in the region. A very interesting scene has been observed here in Rabat during the month of Ramadan; breaking the fast on the beach like a family picnic. Most of the population is Muslim, hence they fast and the culture is deeply immersed in Islamic values.

The people gather up on the beach like a family picnic, where all you can see are tables with families seated together. According to the locals, they come here to create happiness, and yes, what more amount of happiness is known to human beings than a family gets together on a meal after a long day fasting for the Almighty.
The atmosphere is aromatic, with a cool breeze, sun setting and the sky changing from blue to light grey to dark while everyone eats after the cannon booms and call of prayer is said by the muezzin. Many of the people are observed offering the prayer right after the call while others eat first and then join the people offering the prayers.
They are the people who think to stay at home can make them feel tired, hence they come to the beach to share their iftar meal with their friend and other people and create happiness in their lives while some say this also refresh their childhood memories.
Surely, they are so lively people who forget all their miseries and arguments and gather together to share joy and happiness and create peace in their lives.
