A person might witness a dream in which he finds himself as a slave, sees someone else as a slave or frees a slave. In all the cases, the interpretation is different.

A single case might have a different interpretation depending on the nature of the person who sees the dream. Ibn Sirin gives us authentic interpretations of the various dreams in which a person might see a slave.

Serving someone as a slave

If a person sees himself as someone’s slave and recognizes the person who he is serving, then that means he would be enslaved by that person or other then that be blackmailed by him.

Becoming a slave

A person being enslaved in a dream can mean many things. It can mean that the person had to borrow so much money that he became a slave to the ones who lent it to him.

It could mean that the interest of his loans may become a burden upon his family.

It could mean that one will have to work for the people who lent him money to pay their debt.

It could also mean that the person might develop heart problems or some severe illness which would deteriorate his health.

Being sold as a slave

If a man is sold as a slave in his dream, then it means something bad or worrisome will happen to him unless the person who buys him is a lady.

Being sold as a slave to a lady

If a man is sold as a slave in his dream to a lady, then it means that he will be treated kindly and honorably. The level of his comfort will depend on the price for which he was sold in the dream.

An unmarried woman being sold as a slave

If an unmarried woman sees herself being sold in a dream, then she would marry the person she is sold to.

Selling your own wife

If a man sells his own wife in the dream, then it means that they would get divorced.

Being turned into a slave

If one sees himself being captured and enslaved by his enemy then he will be subjected to embarrassment and obedience.

Slave trader

To see someone as a slave trader in a dream means that is well connected with matters related to the higher authorities or the government.

Buying and selling a slave

Buying a slave in one’s dream means that the person will be burdened with grief and sorrow whereas selling a slave would mean that his stress will be released. In the case of a slave girl, it is thought that it is better to buy her rather to sell her.
