Procedure To Get Police Clearance

The website of Etimad Center who is authorized to process the family visit visas from Pakistan states that applicants are required to produce police clearance certificate from Pakistan for visa processing.

In practice, this requirement is not applicable to the family visas. However, the applicants who are coming on work visas will have to provide police clearance certificate from Pakistan to agents authorized to process their visas from Saudi Embassy.

Normally agents arrange police clearance certificate from Pakistan for the applicant. However, if you want to apply for it, you will have to follow the following procedure. The police clearance certificate from Pakistan is also required if you are applying for the immigration to Canada, Australia or any other European country.

How to get a police clearance certificate from Pakistan?

1-Download the “Police Character Certificate Form” from the Lahore Police website. This form is for Lahore City Police only but you can get a similar form at any local court or SHO office.

2-Fill the form attach two photos, a copy of CNIC, a copy of passport, CNIC copy of Father, two CNIC copies of Neighbors

3-Take the Form to Local Police Station and get sign and stamp from Local SHO

This process will take some time they will keep the form with them and ask you to come after two weeks or in some case 1 month (Verification process) …….. Here you need the oil to spin the wheel —- speed money) Can be signed in 1 day;

After this process take this signed and stamped form to SP office or Capital City Police Officer, in Lahore I went to Civil Lines office where the SP office is located; Here Again, you need oil to spin the wheel;

Once it is done, now 99% of work is finished take this form to MOFA office for attestation and you are done with the process.
